Recharging

My apologies for missing a vomiting of thoughts, but I had no time to hurl words into a post. I tend to bite off more than I can chew to the point of almost… choking. While making preparations for and attending events in August I pushed myself to my limit and stretched myself very thin, so I had to let some things fall to the side. August was an exhausting month.

Overall, the events were a success and good practice for attending even bigger events/cons. This month I’ve decided to try and relax a little if that’s possible for one such as I. I’m taking a slight step back from Otaku Punk related business and a few steps toward recharging my creative forces. I don’t have much to write beyond that, since my mind is still kind of brain dead and recovering from the trauma of having to deal with the general public, so I will see you in the next post.

Tick-Tock

Hola, que tal? The clock keeps ticking down and there is still so much to do. Otaku Punk is ready for Idea Con while preparations for Pueblo Pride are still underway. I’ve been having so much fun working with new materials and developing new designs. The high I get from my creative alchemy is like no other.

After these events I plan to refocus my energy back to writing. Aside from vomiting my thoughts in these blogs and the occasional writing session here and there, my writing has kind of been nonexistent.

My Situation and No Sympathy For Children have been in preview mode for far too long. They keep screaming at me, repeating the lines of the boiler man, “Finish what you started, human.” And I will finish it just might take me longer than expected @_@ That is all the vomit I have time for. I must resume work and bid you adieu.

Preparationss

Here at Otaku Punk HQ we’ve been preparing…we being me, myself, and I.

I’ve been preparing for Otaku Punk’s first vendor events. The plans, the plans, the plans that went out the window thanks to the year that which we don’t speak of were to have at least 6 cons or craft fair attendances as a vendor under our belts by the time 2022 rolled around. But here we are preparing for our very first event, so prepare yourselves if you are in our neck of the woods to join us if you can. I’ve been working on new designs of all kinds. The new stuff and things won’t be available in the shop until September, but they will be available to attendees who stop by our tent at the following events:
Idea Con 8/6 11:00 am – 4:00 pm Grome Park, 159 Jewell Avenue, Pueblo, CO
Pueblo Pride 8/21 10:30 am – 4:00 pm Mineral Palace Park, 1600 N Santa Fe Avenue, Pueblo, CO
If you can’t make it you can catch a peek of the new merch & designs by following Otaku punk on IG or FB. I actually don’t post too often. I’m an elder millennial who hates to social media.

Truth be told I’m a person who just hates to social anything.

But don’t let that stop you from saying hi if you are in our area for these events or keep you from joining us on the social medias.
I will end the vomiting of thoughts here. Be chingon and subscribe to the Otaku Punk newsletter below! Adios!
