Preparationss

Here at Otaku Punk HQ we’ve been preparing…we being me, myself, and I.

I’ve been preparing for Otaku Punk’s first vendor events. The plans, the plans, the plans that went out the window thanks to the year that which we don’t speak of were to have at least 6 cons or craft fair attendances as a vendor under our belts by the time 2022 rolled around. But here we are preparing for our very first event, so prepare yourselves if you are in our neck of the woods to join us if you can. I’ve been working on new designs of all kinds. The new stuff and things won’t be available in the shop until September, but they will be available to attendees who stop by our tent at the following events:
Idea Con 8/6 11:00 am – 4:00 pm Grome Park, 159 Jewell Avenue, Pueblo, CO
Pueblo Pride 8/21 10:30 am – 4:00 pm Mineral Palace Park, 1600 N Santa Fe Avenue, Pueblo, CO
If you can’t make it you can catch a peek of the new merch & designs by following Otaku punk on IG or FB. I actually don’t post too often. I’m an elder millennial who hates to social media.

Truth be told I’m a person who just hates to social anything.

But don’t let that stop you from saying hi if you are in our area for these events or keep you from joining us on the social medias.
I will end the vomiting of thoughts here. Be chingon and subscribe to the Otaku Punk newsletter below! Adios!

Hi – Atus

Hi – I’ve been MIA for about…a month and a half now? Probably more by the time I end up posting this Thought Vomit because I just broke the Otaku Punk website…

While I did want to update the website, I certainly did not want to rebuild an entire website, but that is what happened. So, como paso todo? Well, I was in the middle of making said updates and what seemed like a simple copy and paste job turned into a muthafackin’ nightmare. The website glow up went horribly wrong. Oh, but what is life without a good ol’ kick in the @$$ to remind you that things don’t always go your way. Everything just kind of spiraled after that.

Restoring backups lead to more errors, contacting tech support provided no support, server errors on top of php errors, not knowing WTF I was doing just compiled to the point where I had no choice, but to light it all on fire and watch it burn.

“The comeback is always greater than the setback.”

As I watched my hard work burn to a pile of ashes, I knew that eventually this moment would just be a small blip on the spectrum of life. Even so, all I could think of was how long it took me to put everything together the first time and knowing that I had to do it again was just daunting. That’s all I have to say about that. It took a minute, but Otaku Punk is back! Please take a look around the nouveau site. Be chingon and subscribe to the Otaku Punk newsletter where you will be notified of the latest Thought Vomit and much more!
